The only taxi ranks in Eden are in Penrith.

Penrith taxi full time rank

We are responsible for one full-time taxi rank in Sandgate which will hold up to seven vehicles.

Penrith part-time taxi ranks

There are also three part-time taxi ranks in operation daily between 8pm and 3am at:

• Market Square - space for 2 taxis
• Devonshire Street - space for 2 taxis
• Middlegate - space for 3 taxis

Penrith Railway Station taxi rank

Penrith Railway Station taxi rank holds up to five vehicles. Taxi proprietors require a permit to use this rank. Further information may be obtained from the train operators, currently Avanti West Coast or from the Licensing Team.
