Allotments
There are allotments in Penrith, Kirkby Stephen, Kirkoswald, Morland, Skelton and Winskill. Parish and town councils look after the letting of these allotments, with the exception of Penrith allotments.

Penrith allotments
Penrith and District Gardeners Allotment Holders Association look after the allotments in Penrith, on behalf of Penrith Town Council who own the land. The allotments are on Salkeld Road, James Street, Brackenber Close and Folly Lane in Penrith.

Kirkby Stephen allotments
Kirkby Stephen United Charities look after the allotments in Kirkby Stephen. The allotment gardens are to the south of the town adjacent to Jubilee Park, on the opposite side of the Wharton Hall road.

Kirkoswald allotments
There are three allotments sites in Kirkoswald, which are privately owned.

Morland parish council have 10 allotments.

Skelton allotments gardens
Skelton allotment plot is adjacent memorial woodland and children's play area.
