Caravan and campsite licences

• Caravan site licences

• Caravan licences can be applied for on land with planning permission for a caravan site. Conditions will alter depending on the type of caravans

• Tent site licence

• A tent site licence is required for tents sites used more than 42 days in a row, or 60 days in a 12 month period. Planning permission is also required.

• Caravan sites: fit and proper person

• Mobile home and caravan site owners, or their appointed managers, must appear on a register of Fit and Proper Persons.
